Fireworks

Made of potassium chlorate to supply O2 and flammables like starch or petroleum derivatives to combine with the O2 making heat and light. Salts of strontium, copper & sodium produce the colors that appear. The fireworks produce heat and colorful lights usually in the sky. Nothing dissolves in fireworks, but there are reactions in fireworks. Fireworks are made as missiles to launch in the sky and produce bursts of color.
